John 19:29

ASVh There was set a vessel full of sour wine; therefore, having filled a sponge with sour wine, having put it on a stock of hyssop, they brought it to the mouth.
ASV There was set there a vessel full of vinegar: so they put a sponge full of the vinegar upon hyssop, and brought it to his mouth.
