Make Peace with God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ
Who is the Lord Jesus Christ?
The Lord Jesus Christ is the only-begotten Son of God the Father, and only through Him can we be saved. The only-begotten Son of God is He, and only Him alone the Father has. This page highlights key Bible passages to summarize who the Lord Jesus Christ, the beloved Son of God, is and why He is the only One that can help us make peace with God the Father. The Birth of the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God
The Lord Jesus is the Son of God and the Son of Man. The Holy Spirit conceived the baby Jesus in the Virgin Mary's womb. Holy Spirit dwelt in the egg of Mary to make the egg conceive — God to be a Man. The Bible tells us how this happened. First, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth to a virgin named Mary. And the angel said to her:
"Fear not, Mary; for you have found favor with
And Joseph, Mary's husband, "knew her not until she had brought forth a
The Water and Holy Spirit Baptism of the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God
The Trinity of God (God the Father, God the Son Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit) is shown at the baptism of the Lord Jesus. John baptized the Lord Jesus the Son of God in the Jordan River, "to fulfill all righteousness". -- Matthew 3:15.
"Now it came to pass, when all the people were baptized, that, Jesus also having been baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form, as a dove, upon Him, and a Voice came out of heaven, Thou are My beloved Son; in Thee I am well pleased." -- Luke 3:21-22.
The Ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God
"And Jesus Himself, when He began to teach, was about thirty years of age" -- Luke 3:23.
While on earth, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was teaching the people and His disciples about the kingdom of God (heaven) and what it means to follow Him. The Lord Jesus says:
"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." -- John 14:15.
The whole Bible, as given to the writers, is the Holy Spirit dictated, and it is true and holy and with no errors. We must abide by the entire Word of God. For this page, we post some commandments that the Lord Jesus told us to follow.
"You shall love the Lord Thy God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second like to it is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments the whole law hangs, and the prophets." -- Matthew 22:37-40.
"Be not therefore anxious, saying, What will we eat? or, What will we drink? or, Wherewithal will we be clothed? ... for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek you first His kingdom, and His righteousness; and all these things will be added to you." -- Matthew 6:31-33.
"And He said to all, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and let him take up his cross every day, and let him follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life, will lose it; but whoever will lose his life on account of Me the same will save it. For what is a man profited, if he gains the whole world, but loses or forfeits himself? For whoever will be ashamed of Me and of My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed, when He comes in the glory ofHis own, and of the Father, and of the holy angels." -- Luke 9:23-26.
"Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our home with him." -- John 14:23.
"Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life; the one that believes in Me, though he dies, yet will he live; and whosoever lives and believes in Me will never die. Believe you this?" -- John 11:25-26.
"And Jesus answering said to them, They that are in health have no need of a physician; but they that are sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance." -- Luke 5:31-32.
"And if anyone hears My sayings, and keeps them not, I judge him not; for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. The one that rejects Me, and receives not My sayings, has one that judges him: the word that I spoke, the same will judge him in the last day." -- John 12:47-48.
"Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise out from the dead the third day; and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem." -- Luke 24:46-47.
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. But of that day and hour knows no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only. And as were the days of Noah, so shall be the coming of the Son of Man." -- Matthew 24:35-37.
The Death and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God
The Lord Jesus, the Son of God, was crucified and died on the cross as a ransom for all our sins.
"And when they came unto the place which is called The Skull, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. ... And it was now about the sixth hour, and a darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour, the sun's light failing, and the veil of the temple was torn in the middle. And Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, Father, into Thy hands I commit My Spirit; and having said this, He breathed His last. And when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous Man." -- Luke 23:33-47.
They buried Him, but He rose from the dead on the third day in His human body (He Himself, flesh and bones, material resurrection, not spiritual resurrection). Some women went to the tomb with spices to prepare His body, but there stood two angels in front of the empty tomb and said to the women:
"Why seek you the living among the dead? He is not here, but He is risen; remember how He spoke to you when He was yet in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered His words, and returned from the tomb, and told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest." -- Luke 24:5-9.
After His resurrection, the Lord Jesus appeared in His resurrected human body to various men and women and conversed with them. The news about His resurrection has spread to the eleven disciples, and those gathered with them.
"And as they spoke these things, He Himself stood in the midst of them, and says to them, Peace be to you. But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed that they beheld a spirit. And He said to them, Why are you troubled? and why do doubts arise in your heart? See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself, handle Me, and see; for a spirit has not flesh and bones, as you see Me having. And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. And while they still disbelieved for joy, and wondered, He said to them, Have you here anything to eat? And they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish." -- Luke 24:36-42.
The Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God Is Coming Again!
The Lord Jesus talked many times to His disciples about His coming again, and He will come again as He promised (Read more on this in the Gospel of Matthew: Matthew 24). The Lord has warned all believers before that time comes, what will happen to the world and about His return, but the rest of the world needs to read the Bible by themselves and learn to pray. Some warnings the Lord Jesus gave to the believers as to the times to come and about His return are: a) watch your faith; b) the Bible, will be attacked to wither the faith of the true believers, which is the beginning of false christs to arrive; c) there will appear wrong translations of the Bible and many false christs; d) all of the attacks will be directed to destroy the Holy Bible as this is the temple of the Holy Spirit on earth; e) the gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed to the whole world and then the end time will come; f) keep an eye on the abomination of desolation when the world wide will have a fake Bible and will start to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem; g) the ones that endure to the end will be saved.
Yet, the Lord Jesus is telling us in His Word not to be troubled. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and there are many mansions in heaven prepared for us, and Jesus said that He is coming again to take us to Himself, not to destroy us.
“Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, and believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again, and will receive you to Myself; that where I am, you may be also. And where I go, you know the way.” -- John 14:1-4.
Call Upon the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God and be Saved!
The faith in the Lord Jesus Christ comes through the hearing or reading of His word. If you hear about our Lord Jesus and read about Him, you are ready to invite Jesus into your heart. A faithful Christian needs to believe in their heart that: the Lord Jesus is the only-begotten Son of God conceived by the Holy Spirit into the womb of the Virgin Mary to be a hundred percent God and a hundred percent man; the Lord Jesus was crucified and died for our sins; the Lord Jesus rose again on the third day in the body (same body, flesh, and bones) by the will of the Father; and now the Lord Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven.
To make peace with God and receive forgiveness of sins, confess your sins and repent and accept the Lord Jesus as your God and Savior and be baptized in water in the name of the Father and of the Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit. This way is the best way of becoming a Christian. We were baptized in the river water on May 25, 1991, starting at 4:30 p.m. (in Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada) in the name of the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Our Lord Jesus took away all our sins and guilt and gave us a new life in Him, and we are grateful to Him. We believe that the Lord Jesus will meet you wherever you are in your life, forgive you, and give you a new life in Him.
